SEVENTY SIX TRIPS
It is Bob Benedetto’s birthday and we wish it to be the best one yet! Happy birthday, Bob!
A Celebration of Life
Be sure you are in Somers Point, New Jersey on November 3rd-6th to celebrate the life and musical accomplishments of Pat Martino featuring some of the finest jazz guitarists in the world.
Grape job, Bob!
Bob Benedetto stays awfully busy for a retired guy! Last week he was working on a beautiful, grape themed inlay for the headstock of Dave Miner’s next Vinodetto (his collection of wine stained guitars).
Yes, indeed!
BG Pres, Howard Paul had the chance to deliver a custom, inlaid tail piece to Steve Howe of the band Yes during sound check in Jacksonville this week. Steve will have it installed on his Autumnburst Bravo Deluxe.
SWEET AND SOUR
Limoncello is one of the more refreshing, non-standard finishes we get to apply from time to time. This Bravo Deluxe was just shipped and will certainly steal the show for the lucky guitarist who ordered it!
AND ANOTHER…
Another fine player, Michael Watts, taking La Cremona Azzurra for a spin courtesy of the Archtop Foundation. He is fantastic at demonstrating how archtops are great for more than just jazzing it up!
FAUX REAL
Another gorgeous Bambino Deluxe is heading out the door! This one is all done up in faux-Elite livery with upgraded woods, oversprayed maple binding, ebony faceplate, inlaid logo, a B-6 pickup, and a classic Violinburst finish.
THE PRODIGAL SON
BG CEO and President, Howard Paul had an rare opportunity to bring this minty Cremona home as a part of his personal collection. Built by Bob in 1982 it has incredible resonance and is an incredibly fun piece of Benedetto history.
WEST COAST BLUES
Richie Summa giving his Pat Martino Signature model a workout on the classic Wes Montgomery standard, “West Coast Blues” at a recent performance in Atlanta.
RICK AND MORGAN
Long time BG friend and consummate seven stringer, Rick Haydn ran into know music enthusiast, actor extraordinaire, and the narrator to our lives, Morgan Freeman. It’s is so great how music brings people together! Thanks to Cindy Benedetto for passing the pic along.
