Next up on our list of newly minted Benedetto Ambassadors is the one and only Alicyn Yaffee. We’ve know Alicyn for a while now from various trade shows and are super excited to have her on our roster playing the Pat Martino Signature model.

A fresh batch of Benedetto players is up! Let’s take a few days and get to know our newest family members one by one… First up: Jeremy L Wright.

Jeremy is a traveled and studied guitarist focused on jazz and commercial music. Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, Wright was a featured performer at the 2023 Memphis Music Hall of Fame Induction and 2023 TN Arts Awards, and has appeared at the Lowell Folk Festival and Virginia Folk Festival. Additionally, he has worked in musical productions such as Stuart Benjamin’s pilot project “Heart of Soul (2016)”, wide-ranging jazz ensembles, session work, and as a general business musician.

Off the bandstand, Wright works as a composer and music transcriptionist. He’s had experience as a lead music instructor and guitar instructor in various settings teaching  youth, co-developing music curricula, and coaching beginning to pre-college leveled ensembles for r&b, jazz, and pop in the Memphis area.

The procession of recently shipped beauties continues this week with a gorgeous 7-string Bravo in Opulent Brown… Rich, chocolatey, and ready to put bassists out of work!

With several guitars completed last week we have pretty pics-a-plenty this week! Unfortunately, these gorgeous instruments are already on their way to new homes, but you can always check Bob’s Boutique to see if we have any guitars immediately available.

This Pat Martino Signature model is truly something to behold in Autumnburst finish with the mahogany back and sides shaded to match. The signature finger rest is a classy touch too, setup with Pat’s preferred heavy gauge, flat wound strings this one should prove to be a show stopper.

BG Player and Kansas State Professor, Wayne Goins isn’t likely to get the blues this week since he has a new guitar on the way! When he played a Benedetto originally built for Kenny Burrell he knew the look he was after but needed the feedback resistance, immediate response, and durability of the Bravo Deluxe model. We put this one together for him giving a visual nod the the KB guitar but with modern appointments befitting of a player of Wayne’s stature.

Off to another lucky guitarist, this custom Bambino Deluxe is a great example of what appears to be a bit of a trend among customers… it’s our third one in about a year! With upgraded woods throughout, under a gorgeous Light Antiqueburst finish, it’s a bit surprising that the bookmatched outer veneer on this stunner still manages to steal the show.

Our dear friend, business partner, and very own leap year baby, Dave Miner finally gets to celebrate his sweet sixteen! Happiest of happy birthdays from all of us at Benedetto guitars… May the coming (four) year(s) bring delight and happy picking!
