This incredibly unique guitar was handbuilt by Bob Benedetto in 1995 for world-renowned jazz guitarist, Chris Standring. The classic 16″ body shape and Manhattan headstock profile that brought Bob to fame in the 90s are complimented by a comfy 2 1/4″ depth. Its 25 1/2″ scale, 1 11/16″ nut width, and traditional f-style sound holes give it a very traditional feel and look, while the spruce center block running the length of the body offers exceptional versatility when amplified. Despite the semi-hollow construction, this special instrument weights in at a scant 7 1/4″ pounds and remains balanced on the players body. A plain tailpiece is included and can be fitted prior to shipping.
