Benedetto is making available eight vintage guitars consigned by the family of a dear friend who was a prolific collector of guitars (mostly non-archtops).  From 2007 to 2010 he acquired seven custom Benedettos and one with all standard appointments. These guitars are all in excellent condition with very little ware, no obvious blemishes, dings or scratches.  These would be considered “closet classics.”  Our Master Luthier has inspected, cleaned, setup, and tested each instrument.  We will include a two-year warranty against defects with each purchase. Customer is responsible for shipping. 

Benny Custom Tri. Burst 2008:  This guitar includes a unique tri burst finish of gold-red-black top and black back sides and neck. Dimensionally standard (14-1/2” x 2” body, 25” scales) but features a 1-11/16” nut width.  Ebony fingerboard and tuners. 2 gold Benedetto A6 pickups. Gold Leo Quan one-piece Badass tailpiece. Includes original TKL case.

LUTHIER’S NOTES: Very Good condition.  I think this one got more play than some of the others.  The frets are lower and look like they’ve been leveled in the past.  I didn’t need to do anything with them.  I did a factory set-up with 12s.  It has an old-spec truss rod that works sufficiently.
