Dan Faehnle
Dan Faehnle is a guitarist with the technical prowess of a jazz giant who has made an indelible mark upon the music world, receiving high praise from audiences and critics alike.
As an integral part of the Diana Krall quartet for three years, Dan garnered accolades from such publications as the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. Faehnle has also worked with such noted musicians as Joey DeFrancesco, Eddie Harris, Clark Terry, Zoot Sims, and Jeff Hamilton. Other significant colleagues have been Mel Brown, Ron Steen, Nancy King, Dave Friesen, and Rebecca Kilgore. Currently, he’s the guitarist for the popular Pink Martini orchestra.
Influenced by bebop pioneer saxophonist Charlie Parker and such diverse guitarists as George Benson and Wes Montgomery, Faehnle displays the versatility of a well-studied artist, “but within that tradition makes a compelling, up to the minute statement.” –SEATTLE TIMES
