Benedetto Artist, Rodney Jones has more accolades and credits than we have time for… all you need to know right now is that his primary instrument for the last several years has been a Bambino Deluxe, so much so he wore a hole in the finish (as photographed at the recent Rocky Mountain Archtop Festival… even the equally inimitable Ed Cherry is impressed from the background). With the milage noted, Rodney now has this stunning 16-B in his quiver. You’ll have to catch him at one of many gigs in NYC to know which guitar will be his number one now, but if you can’t catch him there, or aren’t hip to his playing, you need to go buy all the records and books with his name on them right away, be it side man or leader.
