IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS
We’re super thrilled to have CNC specialist, Justin McCathie helping us refine and expedite our mechanical processes! Sure, improved programming capabilities will help us get components and procedural milling accomplished more efficiently, but it’s the detailed custom flourishes that make each Benedetto special that has us extra excited (just to prove it, here’s a little sneak peek of something fancy in the works for BG Educator, Kristen R Bromely).

SHAPED UP AND SHIPPING OUT
This gorgeous Manhattan is a great example of what can be done with custom options.
Benedetto and our guitar community is deeply saddened with the passing of John Pisano. Legendary jazz guitarist John his wife Jeanne, a talented jazz vocalist (the Flying Pisanos), were longtime friends of Bob and Cindy Benedetto. Most beloved and revered by jazz guitarists for his many recordings with Joe Pass, he held the guitar chair with legends including Herb Albert, Billy Bean, Peggy Lee, Chico Hamilton, Sergio Mendes, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, Michel Legrand, Barry Manilow, Barbara Streisand, and so many other legends. A great soloist, bebop player and quintessential vocal accompanist, John will be remembered as one of guitar’s defining voices. His long running series of John Pisano’s Guitar Night brought together many of the finest players in the world for impromptu sessions at various LA restaurants of the years. With deepest condolences to Jeanne and the entire Pisano family.

EXTRA, EXTRA!
It’s finally here! As much as BG Pres/CEO, Howard Paul hates the moniker “Rock Star,” we have to admit he lives up to the hype! Follow this link (click here) to Georgia Trend Magazine to read about our fearless leader and find out why were were honored as a “Rock Star” small business in the state of Georgia.
FINALLY…
Last but not least, we are excited to announce Dr. Wayne Goins as the newest guitarist in our Educator/Ambassador lineup. Besides being an enthusiastic lover of all things Benedetto, Wayne is an accomplished author, recording artist, and well-regarded professor.
NEXT UP
Next up on our list of newly minted Benedetto Ambassadors is the one and only Alicyn Yaffee. We’ve know Alicyn for a while now from various trade shows and are super excited to have her on our roster playing the Pat Martino Signature model.
Click here (and scroll down to the Ys) to read more about Alicyn or you can catch her out and about as one of the busiest guitarists in Manhattan (if she’s not on the road).
FRIENDLY FACES
A fresh batch of Benedetto players is up! Let’s take a few days and get to know our newest family members one by one… First up: Jeremy L Wright.
Jeremy is a traveled and studied guitarist focused on jazz and commercial music. Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, Wright was a featured performer at the 2023 Memphis Music Hall of Fame Induction and 2023 TN Arts Awards, and has appeared at the Lowell Folk Festival and Virginia Folk Festival. Additionally, he has worked in musical productions such as Stuart Benjamin’s pilot project “Heart of Soul (2016)”, wide-ranging jazz ensembles, session work, and as a general business musician.
Off the bandstand, Wright works as a composer and music transcriptionist. He’s had experience as a lead music instructor and guitar instructor in various settings teaching youth, co-developing music curricula, and coaching beginning to pre-college leveled ensembles for r&b, jazz, and pop in the Memphis area.
