Miner Family Vineyards affable Tasting Room Manager (Extraordinaire!) Steve Gage poses for a photo for a forthcoming biographical DVD on our favorite winery. The documentary, created by Bill Doyle (who did our amazing "Benedetto: Body & Soul" DVD in 2003), will be released with the 2006 Miner/Benedetto Signature Series wine at the Miner Concert Aug. 15th. :-) Don't forget that's less than 3 weeks away. Just think: Bucky Pizzarelli, Howard Alden, "our" Howard, tasty treats, beautiful weather...and, yes, wine!

BG said another Farewell recently...this time to Jonathan Tenenbaum, who worked in Sales/Admin since last October.
The requisite group shot included BG's Mascot Extraordinaire Lucky (who wins for the best smile, don't ya think?!).

His seminar "Jazz Guitars: The Perspective of a Manufacturer/Player", is slated for Monday, July 27th, 4 pm, in room 0001 of the Music Building of Purchase College.
A reminder that all of the events are essentially closed to the students that attend NGW.
We look forward to a good crowd! Per Tom Dempsey, Director of Music, NGW, "We will have over 80 jazz students on campus and over 200 guitarists throughout the campus."

GOOD LUCK, WYATT!
BG bid our Master Craftsman Wyatt Wilkie a farewell on July 1st (sorry this is late posting!) as he and his family (wife Emily and son Jasper - left with Bob) head to Vancouver Canada, Wyatt's hometown. Working with Bob for two years, Wyatt loved BG but not Savannah's hot weather, hence the trek north...Thanks for all your hard work and a safe journey "home"!
Wyatt will open his own shop and make mandolins.

Bob checks the neck on the first Benedetto guitar made for Bucky during a visit to Bucky & Ruth's in Saddle River, New Jersey, 1995.
The guitar, made back in 1978, was acquired in April 2007 for the Smithsonian Institution's musical instrument collection.
