Howard, Bob and I spent an enlightening afternoon Tuesday, Sept. 8th, with Tibetan Monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery while they created a beautiful mandala at Elizabeth's on 37th, Savannah.
Special thanks to Gary Butch (2nd from right) and to the Monks for this special group photo - talk about an Amazing Photo Op! :-)

MEDITATION
Bob, Cindy and I spent an enlightening afternoon Tuesday, Sept. 8th, with Tibetan Monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery while they created a beautiful mandala, and then joined them for a delicious lunch. Usually reserved for museum exhibitions to raise money for the Dalai Lama, the experience was extra special as it was in a private setting above Savannah's most revered gourmet restaurant - Elizabeth's on 37th. No one was more enlightened (or enlightening) than the Butch brothers, Gary and Greg, (owners of Elizabeth's) who provided us with this rare invite and let us dine with their monk guests in an informal meal of simple but exquisite dishes. HOWARD PAUL
