The Howard Paul Trio performed at Blowin' Smoke BBQ Tuesday, 9-22-09, one of many free scheduled concerts during Savannah's weeklong jazz celebration, now in its 28th year.
The trio featured Hammond B-3 organ wizard Scott Giddens and drummer Peter Miles, both from Jacksonville.

Yup, it was September 1994 when our book was first published...since then we have had numerous reprints and, in its niche, it's a Best Seller!
Even if you don't aspire to make a guitar, it's still a great read... :-)
p.s. a fun fact...Just Jazz Guitar Publisher Ed Benson did the lay-out for our book...this was his foray into publishing- thanks again Ed for the great job!

Our Great Gretsch Friend Fred this past summer at dinner at our home with lovely wife Dinah...Bob shows Fred the miniature archtops (and violin) he handmade as a young boy, based on popular Gretsch models of the day.
